Higher Secondary School

Admissions

I. Admission to Std. XI: Admissions will be on merit.

  1. A student seeking admission to the Std. XI must have passed std. X- S.S.C. Conducted by the Goa Board or by any other Board recognized by the Government.
  2. The students must have the minimum percentage as shown against each course.
  3. The student seeking admission must be accompanied by his/her parents / guardian for the interview with the Principal.
  4. The students shall apply in the prescribed form available in the school office.

II. Certificates and Testimonials:
All the students seeking admission to Std. XI will be required to produce the following:-

  1. The Application form filled in along with original documents as follows:
    a) The original + xerox copy of the leaving certificate issued by the last school attended.
    b) The original + xerox copy of mark list & Passing certificate of the SSC Examination.
    c) Those joining from any other board are to submit the following:
    i.    Provisional Eligibility certificate from the Goa Board in case the student passed SSC  Examination  from a Board other than Goa Board & Final Eligibility as per the Board Rules.
    ii.   The Migration Certificate
    iii.  Leaving Certificate to be countersigned  by the  respective Education Dept.  / Officer.
  2. A Passport size photos to be attested to the Admission Form and soon after the school will click photos with their school uniform for the sake of ID Card/Library Card.
  3. Birth Certificate.
  4. Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC should also produce the certificate along with the Application form.
  5. An Income certificate from the concerned civil authorities should also accompany the form.
  6. Xerox copy of the Aadhaar card.

 

III Admissions to Std XII:
Besides the requirements mentioned above for  Std XI:

  1. Students from other Higher Secondary School who have passed Std XI Examination have to produce Leaving Certificate, No objection Certificate and a character certificate from the Principal of the Institution last attended.
  2. Students from other states shall also produce eligibility as well as
    migration certificate as stated in I and II.


IV. Re-admission of students of Guardian Angel Higher Secondary School who have passed Std. XI is as follows failing  which it will be presumed that the student does not want to continue in this institution and his/her place will be filled by admitting other students.

  1. They should apply in the prescribed application form from the school.
  2. Submit two photos wearing their school uniform.
  3. Come for interview with the Principal on day specified.
  4. Submit, certified xerox copy of the Std XI result.
  5. Xerox copy of the Aadhaar card.

The PTA has decided to contribute Rs. 510/- towards the PTA funds for the development of the School, Staff and Students.
